Introduction About Our Institute
For more than half a century, Kumarpur Parashmani Shikshabitan (H.S.) has been the epicenter to spread the waves of education through a wide area that surrounds her. After getting the official seal of establishment in 1956, this hoary educational institution has gone through several changes, modifications and upgradations. Significantly, in 1961, within only five years of her foundation, the school was crowned with the first Grant-in-Aid and received the prestigious recommendation for the Secondary level from the Government of West Bengal. Gradually, the much awaited elevation as a Higher Secondary School came in the year 2000, and the institution was honoured with the status of being “Government Sponsored” in the year 2013.
Owing to the tireless determination of the teachers, the praiseworthy effort of the administrators and the active participation of the highly motivated students, the school has been successful in maintaining an excellent stability in terms of academic performance. Accordingly, the results of the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examinations have been highly inspiring.
Indeed, during the course of such a prolonged journey the institution had to encounter several inevitable rough patches, but with a collective effort put by all the stakeholders and well-wishers, the school has not deviated at all from her noble mission. Rather, all the stumbling stones have been carved into milestones by the road to success. It is our humble expectation from all concerned that they would outstretch their generous hands to help the school flourish towards further glory.
We are particularly thankful to the strong support and the creative and composed suggestions and advices we continually have from the honourable members of the present School Managing Committee. We do hope that many of the unfulfilled aspirations that can help the school attain awesome loftiness will be accomplished by their further inspirational initiatives.
